Along the same vein, I know that there are Hydrogen powered cars in the making as I saw it on Top Gear!, but apparently there has been a successful, and highly at that, Patented Fuel ~ Water!
I am extremely interested in thie, however as many places in the world are low on water and others still have water rates, its probably not as cheap as it once was/seems! All the same, I went searching, and as a result, for anyone interested, information on the ?
conspiracy to cover up and Lose the Water fueled car plans can be found

Yes, water works as a fuel! If you do a little research you'll find numerous patents on the subject. In fact, on February 18, 1992 a well known inventor from Bolivia created the "Pacheco Bi-Polar Autoelectric Hydrogen Generator" and received the following patent.
(U.S. Patent No. 5,089,107)
The device successfully separates hydrogen from seawater. The inventor has built and demostrated successful prototypes and actual tests have fueled a car, motorcycle, lawnmower, flashlight and even a boat. In 1990 he energized an entire home with the device!
So if we can use water as a fuel, why in the world are we still using petroleum based fuels? Excellent question, but don't wait for the answer to appear in your local newspaper anytime soon. Also found this, there:
