Hi all, I have a qustiong regarding my husband ( c-3 c-4 quad)second degree burns on both his feet...(long story) anyway, he underwent a first skin graft procedure on Friday and had a problem with some infection. His doctor recomended amputation of both legs below the knee as an option rather than undergoing more operations and skin grafts which would eventually have to come from his own body and of course run the risk of even more problems with open wounds. We don't know what to do....Has anyone ever heard or known a quad who recieved a successful skin graft procedures. He'll need multiple grafts. Any help would be appreciated.
