The guy I'm watching for in Nascar is Sam Hornish. I'm not really a Nascar fan (the highlights are good enough for me) nor that keen on any oval racing but I do take an interest in Indy cars cos I like to know how fellow Kiwi Scott Dixon is doing - hence getting to know Sam Hornish who currently seems to be specialising in failing to finish. He's a very gutsy driver and I expect to hear good things soon.

Meantime, I'm riveted to the dynamic crash-and-bang excitement of test cricket as NZ pummels England. Second test starts tomorrow and anything can happen between these two erratic teams and probably will. Five days of real sport where mental toughness is tested as much as physical skill and endurance.

Sounds interesting.

Unfortunately, we don't get that, here (Jeez, you'ld think we were trapped on an island!).

Hi Nomis

I'm looking forward to the second test too, should be a good one, do you know what the pitch is expected to be like? Last games in the 6 nations this weekend, Dad is very happy (he's a taff) and keeping his fingers crossed about winning the six nations, and dreaming about winning the Grand Slam to add to the triple crown, it is possible the was France have been playing.

What the hell is the matter with you?

You don't have to go killing off the insect population just to make bait for fish. You'll upset the delicate balance of the ecosystem.

Leave the crickets alone!

Use dynamite. It's quick, it's eco-friendly to where it won't harm the insect population (well, not above water, anyway), and you'll catch more fish.

When I get engrossed enough, cricket keeps me awake at night, too. But during play it has a reputation of putting some people to sleep.

Young English wicketkeeper, Tim Ambrose, in only his second Test, goes to bed tonight on 97 runs. How's he going to sleep? The pitch is hard, quick and takes swing early morning. Young Tim faces a tough test after breakfast.

I was up with all of the other mad petrol heads at 3.30am (UK time) this morning to watch the F1, good race, the TC going has made loads of difference, plus excellent win for Lewis Hamilton, I managed to get the time wrong, the show started at 3.30 but the race didn't start until 4.30. So I managed to fit in an hours Cricket from NZ before turning over.

Excellent race for BMW and Williams too.

I flipped it on F1 racing last night before i went to bed an it looks like Ferrari was having a crappy race.

Well the race at Bristol was CRAZY. I was sitting so close to the track, i was getting hit with little bits of rubber. I drank all day an had a blast. got to go to bed now its been one hell of a day

Pub's been slow.

Time for more entertainment:

This clip was done by the the same guy who made "Rats On Cocaine" series. It's completely irreverent; nothing is sacred.

http://www.apocalyps...er/ep1/ft1.html

Here's a beer for Ill-O-noise Boy.

...........................................

By the way, the Darwin Award is an award given for people who do a service to Humanity by removing themselves from the Gene pool.

Here is a classic: "Man dies after attempting to have sex with a horse"

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/loca...8_horse15m.html

...and here are two guys watching the clip (no, this is not the actual clip, just their reaction while seeing it).
