Anyone interested in talking about Rugby or motor racing I could even stretch to football if anyone else out there supports Spurs! I am a season ticket holder for Gloucester Rugby and spend every other saturday drinking too much in the club bar before giving the touch judge lots of grief from the sidelines. I also go all over Europe watching formula 1.

Hi Jules,
In the year before my accident, I travelled and filmed Formula 1, as I was a freelance video cameraman. I did the first half of the season, and a bit of F1 Bike racing as well.
I used to film pre-qualifying and qualifying in the pits, and then go on-track on race day. needless to say, it was a great job!
I still watch it on TV, but haven't been to a race for quite a while now.
Are you going to any races this year?
Regards
Simon

Aww Jim your not mad because NASCAR help your girl Jeff out only at the first half of the year instead of the whole year. NASCAR wanted her to win an they helped her every chance they got, she just could not keep up with jimmy

Football only seems to get my interest in championship games. I'm not a full season fan (fanatic).
Rugby doesn't seem to exist on my planet. The most I've seen, here, are highlight clips from games long past.
Now, I've gotta fetch out my knife, go in back to da pub kitchen and start chop-prep for bar appe-tezzers.
Here's how it starts...
*chop chop chop*
BTW, Dave,
I'll need the chicken back when you're done molesting it.

Nevermind. I found it. It's dead. Traumatized, I suspect.

I am a big Lewis Hamilton fan, I saw him many years ago at Autosport International when he had just signed to McLaren. Also like Jenson Button, he's a very good driver but has had rubbish cars recently. I'm off to Swansea tomorrow to watch Gloucester play the Ospreys in the Heineken Cup, we are top of our group and hopefully will win tomorrow, but it's going to be tight. It is forcast to rain so it'll be proper "up your jumper" 10 man rugby tomorrow, it will be one of those brilliant games where you can barely tell which team is yours because they are so covered in mud! Plus it's going to be cold, so the scrums will actually steam!

Ahhh, that’s the spirit!
It warms my heart to read such things when I thought women might choose to avoid our little pub for all of the “less-than-proper” language that we tend to use, here.
Now, here’s something for our pretty, little, blood-soaked, barbarian maiden with the battle axe.

Patriots?????
What's with letting a team that admitted to cheating, play in the post season, anyway. Should have been barred from the playoffs, IMHO.
Got any Guiness on tap???

I agree the patriots got a slap on the hand. IMO they should be barred from the playoffs for the next couple years.
I would have loved to play rugby. I was good at football an loved to hit (not punch) people. To bad they dont have rugby for para's......... or do they, anybody know?

I've always thought that rugby would go down well in the USA as well. The current USA coach used to be the coach at Gloucester, Nigel Melville. He seems quite confident that rugby could be popular in the USA too, I'm not sure whether Rugby Union or Rugby League would be more popular, League is more popular in the North of England, whereas Union is played everywhere else, and is practically a religion in Wales. Which one do you think would be more succesful
The one sport that I love but I don't think would go down well in the US is Cricket !

Is sounds like one of those sports were you can explain it till your blue in the face an people still will not get it until they watch it. I think if i was watching it an someone explained it, everything would start clicking

Remember to have a drink for me at 1.00 GMT tomorrow, Gloucester kick off at 1 against Ulster, a win and we're in the Quarter finals of the Heineken Cup, hopefully as group winners. Lunchtime kick offs are a nightmare because you have to be in the club bar by 12 at the latest. At least its better than last year though, we had a 12.00 kick off against Edinburgh away. The pub opposite the ground had to open at 10.00 for us to start drinking. After a bonus point win there were several thousand very drunk Gloucester fans going on a long pub crawl from the ground back to Edinburgh!
