Hi Becca

Depends what you are after all the rental companies wil fit hand controls to any vehicle. I have rented a few times from a basic family car (a bit like our Astra) to a lovely Sebring convertable.

I you mean a "stay in your wheelchair" sort of vehicle I suspect there are specialist comanies that do that sort of thing.

The hand controls are sometimes a bit different to ours but only take a short time to get used to. Where ours are Pull to accellerate and Push to brake theirs are Lift to accellerate and Push to brake.

The best thing is that they are so used to providing accessibity that it just isnt the hassle it can be here.

Have a fun trip and if you want to visit a quieter more traditional Florida take drive up to Mount Dora.

Hi,
Most major rental car companies can rent you a car with hand controls, but for a company that specializes in it and has an office in Tampa, try here:

One other idea, you might google a place that converts vans for wheelchairs. The one that converted our van also rented some out.
