My kid bro has a C1/C2 injury and is therefor ventilated and has limited head and neck movement. He's 15 and would love to text/call his mates without assistance but his voice is not that good nad he has had trouble with some voice recognition programmes. Has anyone got any ideas of computers/phones/palmtops that could be helpful?

Hi Harvey
Your brother could try the Grid 2 if the likes the idea of accessing everything through his PC. If you Google Sensory Software they will send you out a free trial for it. He will need a switch to access it.
Also there is the Click to Phone mobile phone which has 3 levels of complexity.

Also this one, but don't know much about it. <http://www.etoengineering.com/nohandcomsmartphone.htm>
