I've seen the disabled parking ad with Mark Zupan on YouTube...

Unfortunately, every state's handicap placard is different, so even if I described mine to you it probably wouldn't help. Fortunately, all states (if I'm not mistaken) will honor placards from every other state.

A bit of humor about Utah's is up at the top in bold letters it says PERMANANT, then right below that it says Expires: July 2009. :)

Here in North Carolina, there are 2 basic types: temporary and permanent.
The permanent ones get renewed every 10 years. The temporary ones are good for 6 months.

the bad part about those are that they get stolen, i've had more then one window broken just for some one to steal my placard hanging from the mirror. I used to drive a convertible and had about 6 of them stolen. I don't even bother to get one these days and just park in the very back and get the exercise of rolling, unless it's bad weather and then i park in the spot without and and with 8 years of doing that i have yet to get 1 ticket. I wish just once i would get one so that i could see that at least 1 parking lot gives a shit.
