Hey now this is just an idea for the disabled people like myself, who dont mind the distance away from the shop door, but need the extra space a disabled parking bay provides to get our wheelchairs out,

I reckon there should be disabled spots at the middle of backend of the car park aswell, because the whole reason lazy able bodied jackasses park in the disabled spots is because the spots are close to the shop door,

so if there was disabled spots at the middle or end of the car park, hopefully the tw@ts wouldn't park in them,

i personaly dont need them to be close to the door, i just need the extra space to get my chair out,

what do you think?

You get my vote here. The ones next to the shop are usually filled with the 'walking wounded' who don't need a wide space, just one near the door. Mind you, some of them will park in the wide spaces just because, 'Im entitled!' Often there are more nearer spaces than are not for the disabled but ordinary ones but these 'walking wounded' don't use them.

OK, gripe over.

I am definitely in favour of having some wide spaces at the furthreset point of the car park as they would be so much easier. (Often, when the car park is busy, I commandeer an end space and park half onto the next space giving myself room to get in and out without problem!)

Oh, there is a body call the Blue Badge Association, (can't remember the url) and I posted this idea on their forum. Sadly, they don't seem to be at all active. I'll look up the url and post back later so perhaps people her could post on it and sort this out.
