I am having a real problems staying put in my chair. I get up in the morning and im in a good sitting position but throughout the day i slide down in the chair and end up really slumped and uncomfortable, if i get moved back i just slide forward.

Im wondering if its my cushion cover, can you get a cover that isnt silky?? Or could it be the cushion itself, its a jay2 deep contour. Its getting very frustrating :H2kOther (26):
Don't be fooled by the wheels that i got, am still jenny from the block!!

Hi Jen,
Firstly nice to see someone local, I am over in West Lothian. Your sliding forward could be to do with the way your chair is set up, the chair should be set up with what is called bucket, this is where the back of the seat base is lower than the front, this means that your butt is deeper into the seat at the back this should prevent you from sliding out.
Frank.

You need to ask your doctor about getting your chair properly fitted to you. i move sideways as well as slide forward. I've had my chair orthepedically corrected.
I believe the new Roho seat stopped my sliding forward. My chair tilts in space and reclines, also. This is a great advantage.
Best of luck,
john

Try getting a piece of DYSON to sit on. It stops slipping.
