Have you had your esophagus looked at with a scope ? Is there something you changed 6 mo. ago ? Pain from other areas can show up in the stomach. Anger fear etc., pressure sores and broken bones back out of alignment and food sensitivity or allergies.

Good luck and welcome

Hello and I had a GI doc that has been in practice for almost 38yrs.and he sees nothing wrong in stomach area.

My spinal cord pain management doc says it is the neuropathic pain causing the problem he is one of the best in his field at Ohio State spinal center.

Pain comes around from the left side into stomach. Then at times some foods do just seem to set the fire burning. Doc says we can try a couple other meds as I see him back on the 20th of this month. He also told me that he has had a few people with this same problem that nothing never did help them and I told him I can see why some people would kill themselfs to have to live with this pain.

I tell you it is like standing in a pit of fire. It comes and goes but I am on my 3rd.day in a row now that it will not stop burning at all. So I will take a couple 10mgs of Valium and just sleep.

So thanks for any help.

Bruce

I have it and have had it for years I know it can get damn bad. Have you tried acupuncture ? There are herbs that can help are there any homeopathic doctors in your area. Have you thought about meditation. This is not an instant thing like stubbing your toe something you did an hour ago can start it. It's not the end of the world just another hurdle. Keep a log of what you eat smoke drink and the times and see if there is a pattern and pain pills can do more damage than good in the long run. Don't focus on the pain think of something else do something to take your mind off of the pain. I just go about my life and the pain is just background noise.Hang in there

HEY GUYS,

I HAVE AN EXTREME STABBING PAIN JUST AT MY TOP RIB AND IT GOES STRAIGHT THRU TO MY BACK, AS IF IT WERE A KNIFE GOING THRU ME. DOC SAID IT A NEOURAPATHY OR NEOUROPATHIC PAIN. I HAVE LIDODERM PAIN PATCHES THAT WORK PRETTY WELL. PROBLEM IS THERE IS NO TELLING WHEN ITS GONNA COME. IT ISN'T CONSTANT. WANNA TRY ACCUPUNCTURE AND A CHRIOPRACTOR BUT AFFRAID. I ALSO TAKE ARNEIAC A HOMOPATHIC MEDICINE. IT HELPS WITH SWELLING ETC.
