I am very interested in purchasing a handcycle for exercise. My main concern is being able to transfer from my wheelchair back and forth. I used to be very active and allot stronger but herniated discs in my neck and back from weight lifting and sports slowed me down allot but now I need to get back in shape. I'm 6'6" and weigh about 220lbs. Transfers into vehicles (trucks and cars) are no problem.

In your opinion which handcycle would be the best to look into that would be the easiest to get in and out of..?

Thanks

I have had a Quickie Sopur, I've now got a Topend XLT and a New Halls Wheels Defiant Racer. Since then I've met loads of ppl wanting to get a bike, but my friend Mo, whos T4 finds it hard to transfer into both my bikes, so I suggested to her a Varna 2 as it raises up to transfer and then locks into position to ride minimising the struggle to get into something quite so low :)
