Just got approved for therapy again. Been out of action since I burnt my legs in November! Didn't do bad for first few times. Gonna learn to upload a video and post it of me walking. Looks like I'm drunk...real sad but good workout!

:D

You think it looks bad now, wait until your walking gets better. Then, they make you do a bunch of dance steps.

Richie,

R u using those things that they put on ur legs that have vibrations on them and some type of stimulation? Either way, I think it's AWESOME, I was just wondering b/c I've heard good things about those leg things that are strapped tour legs to remind your spine how to move... Sorry about the lack of technical terms here, I don't know the name of it. Good luck, I love to see it!! E
Take care and God bless... Em

You said a dream may come true even if a small one or something like that...I tell you...in January we took our son to Philly to the Shriners Hospital and they put him in KAFO's and he was able to walk for the first time in almost 2 years. Nothing can be done to reverse his injury...which of course for this mom would have been the perfect miracle. But I tell you, to see him up and walking, even w/ the assistance of braces and a walker, was the best day of my life. Hes smile covered his whole face...he was so happy. In his room that night in the quiteness (he was asleep..thats why it was actually quite) it was like God gently nudged me and said you ask to see him walk again...you didnt specify how...this IS your miracle.

So, I say all that to say that no matter how small it seems or how slow the progress seems to be coming...really its all very big and ver wonderful...lol...

Keep up the good work!!!!!!

hi you look great keep it up, my son can wiggle some toes on his right foot now, and feel his knee and calf, nothing on left side yet, docs say it doesnt mean anything and wont sustain walking but i am hoping they are all wrong and it will come eventually, he is 5 months post injury, how long has it taken you and how long before all your feeling came back?
