He takes 2 senna before bedtime. But other than that no special diet or anything.
Ohh ok. So you just put the bullet in and wait for it to work? How long does it usually take for results?... Is this suppository something that is doctor prescribed? It definitely sounds like something to try, I'm just not sure how to go about getting it. And I'm not exactly sure what senna are... but thank you for the advice!

Please read the following: bowel management info it is a very extensive info pdf about bowel program, and all to do with it (ie diet, etc etc).
As you probably already know, after SCI/D, the peristalsis action of the intestines slows and can even stretch out some. This obviously has a negative impact on your bowel program. The best way to manage your bowel is to eat a high fibre diet with plenty of fluids and together with prescribed meds (suppositories, stool softeners etc) slowly get into a routine.
I am sure that reading the above PDF will give you lots of pointers etc, good luck,
Take care,

It usually takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes for him to be completely finished. He gets his from his doctor through a perscription. The magic bullets are stronger than the ones you just buy at the store.
Senna is just these pills that you can buy over-the-counter. I guess they are stool softners. lol not sure.
Oh yeah, and he does drink ALOT of water throughout the day too!

No, what I was doing was working from the beginning. It's just that now it's not anymore, maybe it's because I'm older now idk... I just wasn't too aware of all the other options out there so I was looking for pointers...

I use the Magic Bullet (MB) too and it works great for me! Because it's water based, not oil, like Dulcolax, it disolves much more quickly. . . I can usually feel it working within 10 minutes. Also, you don't need a perscription for this, just order it drom your durable medical goods supplier. It's half the cost of Dulcolax (in the US at least. . . not sure where you are?).
Hope you find another winner!

Try Ennimeez, it work fast. To fast for me. Better if used in bed on a chuck. I take Benifiber 3 times a day, stool softner 3 times a day and drink over a gallon of water daily. I use regular fleet suppositories and sometimes a little dig stim. I only go every 3 days sometimes 4, but it wirks for me. Hospital wanted me to go daily which was impossible for me. Caused bleeding and hemaroids.

Ever couple of days and I'm golden. It works in about 10 min. for me compared to half and hour it took the magic bullet. Also I was never confident the bullet cleared me completely out.

Oh and with MB you dont have to take stool softners if you are eating right. You might want to try a Senna-S or something if your still is like bricks but the MB also does soften your stool to an extent while it works.

Quotes are nothing but inspiration for the uninspired.
