Hi let me ask you several things fits , does the swelling goes down when you lie down or elevate your legs? Are u urinating well? Do you get short of breath easily? How is your Blood Pressure? I would rule out a medical condition firts, if there is not a medical condition going on for sure, then I would consider to wear Ted Hose to decrease dependent edema.

How is your Blood Pressure? i have been told it is low - could you give me idea on what it should be aroung..
thank you for time...

Your feet will probably always swell because your circulation is not as good anymore.
Have you had a doppler lately to see if you have blood clots? My husbands left leg always stayed swollen and it turns out he has some blood clots in it.
Compression hose can help, although my hubby got a big nasty sore from those so I don't recommend them.
As far as shoes go, we have found our saviors. Bruce wears crocs now. No matter how big your feet get, they do not get tight and they have wonderful ventilation. They aren't the prettiest things but who cares!

Ted stocking it might be help,to decrease and to control the swelling. Do you drink more or are you on fluid restriction? And then you're not urinating well? :D
Ohh...I'm just asking :P
