Hello, I'm brand new to this forum. My husband is looking for a surgeon to do a baclofen pump implant for him. He had a succesful trial already. So far we have found only one surgeon in our area...central NJ, but we are looking for other options. If anyone is in the New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York City area and can recommend a surgeon, we would be very grateful.

We have been in contact with Medtronics, but their "list" includes physicians who only do the refills, etc. and there's no easy way to sort through to see who actually does the implant.

Thank you.

Please make sure who ever operates, puts the baclofen in right then. They left mine dry 14 days and I went into shock. Don't let them tell you it has to heal before injecting it. Ask Motor they filled his and he went home the same day..I'm up to174 every 24 hrs, I'm ot taking any by mouth. Has worked well, also off dantruim ,and soma. I take nothing for pain in the day time now

Find it funny that some time ago this person was crying on line about not having a surgeon to implant pump in her area. I found that crazy as the doctor who did the trial should have had the info. So any way I spoke to my contacts at Medtronic and posted a long list of doctors in her tri state area. She hasn't been around since. Maybe she was a fake. Anyone know her!
