I needed to use john's 4runner one day, so he was left with my car all day.
Around lunch time, i saw him driving my car which doesnt have hand controls through tobacco warehouse to purchase his cigarettes.
He has taken two leg bag straps and used them to attach a curtain rod to the gas and a curtain rod to the brake. What a rig!!!! He still uses them to this day.
Its amazing what you can do with household crap.

I better keep away from where you live.....lol

It's really all in the attitude. You can, if you want to. That should be a disabled person's mantra.

My cousin and I drove 2000 miles roundtrip from Florida to NJ in a compact rental car. Ouch. To help him with the driving I cut a broomstick in half, drilled a hole through the ends of both halves then threaded sneaker laces through them. I tied these two death defying extensions around the brake and gas pedals and voila.

Worked great and I'm still alive to write about it.

It's funny, my cousin and I were talking about "Bob and Bob's Great Adventure" a few months ago and he wants me to ship him one (to Hawaii) of the "driving aids" as a momento. It was the last time we saw our dear grandmother alive.

They're hiding out in the garage somewhere under 14 years of clutter.... when I'm ready for another great adventure I'll try to find them. :D
