i have been looking all over the forum but cant seemto find info which directly relates to this
i read a lot about tingling experiences and what people think but it seems like no one know what tingles really are. same with burning, except it can be really painful

do tell anything about tingling, burning, aching, soreness please; any experiences, any comments.

but has anyone experienced aching, similar to soreness, in feet -> calves, legs all over; from whering tuds and boots to prevent fooddrop;

anyone has experiences with aching, soreness, from the boots and/or from the tuds (the socks)?

What you have is peripheral neurotic pain some us get the sever and some light pain you will know with time.
Just pray to god you don't get the sever pain like me , I'm on so many meds .
Some DRs and family will not believe you but that's normal ?

Take care

Pain is as hard to describe to others as it is to treat.

An individual's tolerance for pain is not easily compared to another's because,,,,,hell,, we were all wired a bit differently before SCI, multiply that times a million, for the differences now.

They always ask you to rate it on a ten to one scale, but who is to say that my eight might not be another's four,,, or vice versa.

The best anyone can do is compare with their own memory. I've hurt this bad before, and a bit worse a few times. I still managed to make a living in construction, using only NSAID's.

I find that if I occupy my mind and/or my hands, the time is more bearable. Still there when I'm done, but put aside for a bit.

Noone can tell you that you hurt less. They aren't inside your skin. You have to make those assessments on your own. You are also the one who needs to decide what to do about it.

None of the drugs used for pain, come without residual effects to your body, as well as changes in your personality. It's up to you to decide how much pain you are willing to endure, and how much risk you are willing to take.

Hi there,

I have peripheral nerve pain and it can be excrutiating. I wouldn't describe it as an ache but it starts by tingling and then stabbing, burning and tearing.

I've been prescribed Lyrica Pregabalin for and it helps alot...most of the time.

Good luck
