Well, are they any good?
The description says, "Mainly used by experienced disabled drivers." This will be my first set of hand controls, so I'm not exactly an experienced DISABLED driver. However, I've driven tractors and forklifts of various configurations. I don't want to get something that's beyond my abilities. I should mention that I can drive conventionally, it's just very exhausting. So, in an emergency I could drop the controls, pull over and stop if I had to. Thoughts, please?

I have a set of lynx hand controls which are similar. I only use them abroad really, the only thing I don't like about them is they are very floppy. I tend to carry a load of plastic ties with it, a) as a secondary to the bolts, and
to try and tie them to something to keep them from dropping on to the seat.

Thx for the reply, but I think I'm going to try these...

These are a little more what I was hoping to get, and the price seems pretty good.

Why are you only looking at portable controls Kwag? Portables will work but have nowhere the level of control and ability as do fixed... the ones for my truck hook directly into the throttle cable and you can leave the pedal on if you so wish...I got em used on Ebay for about 300$...Spin throttle (motorcycle style) & push for brake.
