hi! Im sixteen and recently paraplegic
Thing is my parents and i need to change my room so that its comfortable for me and that i can easily move around in it if any of you have any tips for me i would be really grateful

Hard floors, easier rolling and turning. Fewer pieces of furniture. Adequate turning circle between bed, closet, and dresser.
Keep stuff off the floor, you can't step over it now. Wall mounted shelves that start above your knees and aren't above your head.
Just a few thoughts,, hope they help.

I'm not sure if you've heard of 'swing clear hinges' (Google) for your door? These hinges allow the door to open flush against your wall, giving an additional 1 1/2" of space to move through. Realizing your chair's a smaller manual (as is mine), it's still nice to NOT have to slow down when going through the thresh hold, while worrying about possibly hitting the door or frame.
