Hi I am a paraplegic and wish to go on safari next year.

I am a bit nervous in case i make the wrong choices. is there anyone reading this who has first hand experience who can recommend the right place / company to go with.

Is there anyone who is also planning this sort of trip that i could maybe share info with?

Does anyone know of any charities in England that arrange these sorts of holidays?

Thank you sazzles :D

Here are some links to web sites of companies that provide accessible safaris...

www.titchtours.co.za
www.flamingotours.co.za
www.epic-enabled.com
www.able-travel.com

I've never heard of any charities that pay for people to go on holidays - if there was, the queue would be enormous! Why would there be a charity for this??? I thought we all want to be treated equally!

There are charities that offer dream breaks for disabled, terminally ill or severely sick kids, but just being disabled doesn't qualify for a free holiday!

:helpme: Sorry i didn't mean that i wanted someone to pay for me, this is certainly not the case. It was the organising of the trip that I was concerned with, having not done anything like this before and if an organisation had arranged a trip like this before i may be able to get some advice.
