Alright not going to go into too much detail but I am doing Scotlands West Highland Way next month (24th May) me and five mates.

I am using an old Ti Lite TRC and really needing something off road for it. I am doing it for charity and planning on raising a few bob, for a spinal injuries unit (we are on about £7000 at the moment) but having a big problem finding a company or charity able to loan us an off road chair I thought I would post here in the hope someone might be able to help. Thanks

Thanks for that mate i have tried them but Mike said they won't lend us one for the week. So it was back to the drawig board.

Our wheelchair is available but the problems in london are:-

1.If there is no drop kerb you go no where
2.Amount of proven problems but total with the 19" inch model and total denial from trekinetic leaving the user to rectify faults
3.Only 33% of london buses take this type wheelchair but that's if there are no buggies or if the ranp is working
4.Dial a ride is a no no as they can not secure it
5. Com cab is no no will not fit
6.London community transport unsafe on ramp due to gap in middle
7.Your journey has to be planned with military precission
8.Where a journy cold take 1 hour try 31/2 to 41/2 hours
9 Rain,snow, and ice no go
10. Soft ground take about hour to clean
11. Nitrogen shock absorber is being redesigned by nitron racing systems
12. New brackts to be custom made fo foo plate riser
13. New foot plate wheels on custom made axle

Other wise when finished you can try it in london
