Hi everyone, i've noticed that if i have soft drink's i have problems with my bladder, either i need to get there real quick or i need to go more often then normal. I do have urgency issue's, i usally do time voiding but last night for the frist time ever, I went without realising, very embarrassing....lucky I was at home....what got me the amount of fluid was like 2 liters...I didn't have much to drink...can't understand it...how can I produce so much if i didn't have much to drink....any help to understand why this happened would be great?....I'm back to normal routine, no problems.

I've noticed my levels go way up when I have caffeine, which is a diuretic.

If you are saying you often drink alcoholic drinks, rather than soft drinks, then the alcohol is almost certainly dehydrating you, thus you dont drain as much. However, when you have the soft drinks, your body is probably rehydrating and detoxing the alcohol out plus fluid the body retained because it was dehydrated. Hence more urine is passed as your body system returns to normal. As if you're drinking lots of cafeinated soft drinks (coke, red bull, coffee, tea etc), then the diuretic will cause this as well.

thank's everyone for replying, things are back to normal thank God....it wasn't caffine like coke soda I had, it was a sparkling black currant juice, it's suppose to be much healthier.....I'll stick with very weak cordial, it was just nice to have something else for a change, it wasn't worth it....I never have any alcoholic drink either.

Blackcurrant is also a diuretic - maybe that's why
