Hello All:
I saw the poll but not many really filled it out. How long after your accident did it take for you to get feeling back?
Side question: for those listed as completes, how long before you had motor or sensory function or voluntary, thus making you an incomplete?
Thanks. Best, D

I got most of mine back in the first few weeks, then it all stopped suddenly. I'm nine months post and still have limited motor and sensation in my legs, still cathing and the program. However, mine is complicated by CES (that's what my doctor says anyway).
'Cause that's how I roll!

I don't think I count but thought I would post anyway.
After injury I was 90% fine in a few weeks. I had a tiny bit of numbness / tingling in my legs (more in the left).
A few years on after getting CIDP (auto immune nerve problem) I lost all leg function and feeling, got it back in a year or so but still had the numbness and tingling I had before.
A few years after that had a car accident (someone drove in to the back of us). Was taken to hospital on spinal board, aggrivated old injury.
Since then I have been loosing feeling but not movement, although I am a bit un co-ordinated and gaining back pain due to scar tissue around the injury sites.

I was so terribly swollen that it was closer to two months before sensation started to return and tingling left. At 7 1/2 months, I'm still in recovery and sometimes feel a bit tingly in my feet. I had a lot of massage therapy and still continue with that modality of healing. Reflexology does wonders for my feet. Standing and walking as much as I can stimulates circulation, and further minimizes tingling.
