Hello All,

I help Combat Zone LLC (www.combatzonemma.com) produce MMA events in the Northern MA & Southern NH areas. We have a fighter in a wheelchair that is interested in fighting, however we have yet to find him an opponent. If anyone is training and interested in fighting on September 26th, 2008 @ Rockingham Park Racetrack, please contact me. Also, if you would be interested in simply attending the event, you may contact me for tickets.

Thanks,
Jennifer George

At last! An event promoter with real balls!

Putting on this sort of show will have its challenges, mainly in finding evenly matched and evenly disabled fighters. What rules are you using?

I had an email from a guy in a wheelchair that is a self-defense instructor - can't remember, but think he was a black belt in BJJ. Try emailing him at erik@not-me.org - I'm sure Erik will be more than happy to help you out, whether it be in fighting or in finding a suitably matched fighter.

I'm involved in promoting fight nights, mainly Muay Thai but adding MMA events to our cards also - www.DynamitePortugal.com

You're definately going to get a lot of media attention from this, so I hope you can do this correctly so you won't get ripped to bits in the Press!

Let me know if I can do any more...
