A friend of mine sent me this e mail today. As you can see, it looks like there is some money around to develop wheelchair sport a bit more!

'A quick note to let you know of a new development at Hexham Torch Centre where Leisure Tynedale Sports Development are supporting Tynedale Spinal Injuries group develop a wider sports facility in Hexham'

Anyway the 'people in charge' have asked me for some suggestions for activities. Now Im not that familier with wheelchair sport as I havent done any really, so Im looking for a broad range of ideas for people. Really Id like to be able to suggest a wide range of things for everyone regardless of their ability.

Facilities should be quite good as there is a big new leisure centre and pool opening in Hexham this summer.

So if you have experience of a particular sport pls let me know as Id like to pass it on.

thanks
L
