I recently saw exercise equipment similiar to pedals for working out arms and legs are strapped in and are driven by the upper body/arms. I saw one called something like an "odometer" on Peter's Principle Show.

Searches turn up super expensive equipment. Anyone know of any that would be reasonable or heard of these?

My local hospital physical therapy Dept. has something like that called a powertrainer. You should see if any physical therapy outfits near you have one you could come in and use. Also you might want to look on any used equiptment dealer sites; sometimes if you get lucky you can find stuff like that on there.
Best of luck,
Katie
