I have an insurance through my job before my disability. It cost me $400 dollars a month and now I qualify for medicare part a and b. Im never in the hospital and my medicine is taken care of by medicare prescription drug coverage. Do I need a supplement insurance and can I have some names to check up that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

Ya Diggg,
I just got mine in March, and all I can tell you is, along with Medicare you can opt to choose an HMO at no extra cost. They're less expensive because everything you need is done under one hospital.
If you already have a doctor, ask which Medicare HMO plans he accepts.
Doctor visits are $5.00, as are perscriptions, and everything else is also covered at no additional expense to you. (catheters, other durable goods).

Good luck . . . I'd recommend choosing a hosp. that specializes in SCI, that's my 2 cents.
