hi all ste here
my daugther was sat with me and my wife and said how come they is not a site like this for the children who have parents ,brothers and sisters who are disabled so that they can talk to each other and talk to other children that are going though the same problems, but have know 1 to talk to.and see that they are other children out there that are going though the same thing as them and to show each other that they are not the only kids going though these hard times.
like she said its ok for the parent that is going though with the illness as they have got different web sites that they can go on to and ask other people for help in understanding what as happened to them but the children dont.
so she has started a website from the chilren with disabled parents or even if they have a brother or sister who is disabled so if any of your children would like to join this web site please give them the web site address as the more children that go on it the more help our children start to get and know that they are not alone and they is other kids going though the same as them.
the website address is http://uk.groups.yah...isabledparents/ all children welcome to join.
so please give the children the website we never know they may be able to help each other out the way we do on this site.
talk to u all later ste curtis

What a really fantastic idea! That's the best idea I've heard in ages - you should be on Dragon's Den girl!!!! In fact, I think it's such a good idea, I can see you getting some serious support from experts in the business, like Simon who runs this web site.
Even though I'm just a big kid, I'm too old to join your web site but will most definately keep the address handy and give it to children with disabled parents.
I will say that I hope you have some expert help to keep out any unwanted adults!
Well done Bethany! Big pat on the back to you...

What a good idea! My daughter is a bit young for chat rooms just yet, but I'll keep the address handy for when she is a bit older.

I saw your daughter's post in the Parents/ Carer's Forum . . . she sounds like a pretty remarkable young lady!
I'm sure you're very proud of her.
