Hi guys,
I am currently in dispute with my local wheelchair service (Worcs), relating to the cost they have quoted me for maintenance of a wheelchair using the voucher scheme.
They have quoted me £25 per year (upped this from £15) but even that figure is pants and impossible to maintain a wheelchair for a year - tyres alone blow this figure apart.
Do any of you have any evidence that your wheelchair service provides more than this? If so, please let me know the figure as this may influence my own wheelchair services' decision.
Thanks,
Bish

Hi Silone,
The voucher contains a certain amount of money, determined by your wheelchair service, to cover the maintenance and repair of your wheelchair (during the voucher period).
I know from talking to people that £25 per year is a very low figure, but without proof this is just hearsay. Does anybody have documented proof that their wheelchair service provides a greater sum of money to cover repair and maintenance per year?
If so please let me know as it will help in my fight to increase the money my own wheelchair service have decided to offer me.
Thanks,
Bish
