I've been having pains on my right side of my stomach, above my belly button and south of my ribs. I suspect it is my bowl but was wondering if anyone of you have had something similar. My BM's have changed where they are softer and really are eye watering smelly. lol Peals the paint off my walls bad. My doctor has had me on more fiber but I stopped that last week because of the increase in frequencies needed to pass poo. For 15 years I was able to go twice a week with no problems in between. Anyway, the area is sensitive to touch and I cannot lay on that side or I’ll start getting flushy, sweaty. It’s too high to be my appendix. Anyone have an idea?

I'm sure that you already know this. But if I were you I'd let your doctor know every detail and don't let him push you off.

Get to the bottom of the problem, especially if you can't get comfort in laying down.

could be the bowel but could be your appendix (do you have it still?).
Get it checked if you have one.

Could be adhesions if you've had any kind of abdominal surgery.
