Hey all

I am a pretty big guy at 385lbs and 6'2". I am in an invacare tracer 4. It is a bit on the wider side as i am no small tulip. I am looking for other folks who are, or have been in my situation of finding a lighter, more travel friendly chair. I am looking because I will start driving soon and cannot get my invacare into any car or truck without a small chair lift as my current chair is pretty heavy.

Any experiences or critiques of the chairs out there that have helped bigger folks would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck and persistence to everyone.

THANK YA JEEESUS!
Finally some one around here with a little substance. I'm about 6' and 300. I'm gonna start driving soon also. I use a quickie, Don't know the model but it's a 24 incher (most people round here use about an 18 on average. Such tiny, little people, how do they do it? I can get in and out of a car ok. but I've never tried to break my chair down by myself so I don't know how that's gonna go.
I'll stick with this topic and see what others come up with. If I get any info I'll pass it on to you.
Meantime "why don't you just go on a diet?"
Yeh right, "and all those homeless people, why don't they just buy houses."
Later big guy, :specool:

Not that I'm a big guy :wink05: but RGK really are great chairs and they are made to measure, rigid framed (so take more weight than a folding chair) really good, nice looking chairs

Would recommend them every time
