Sometimes between caths I leak, and in order not to change the depends constantly, what do you suggest to use as a "protection". I want to switch from what I use now.

I am a guy by the way.

I'm not a guy, so sorry I can't answer your question, but was wondering how often you cath and if your leaking is at all predictable?

Lately, I've been paying attention to my body, "fine tuning" my cathing schedule and having pretty good success at reducing leaks. I'm finding it weird that coffee in the morning goes right through me, but coffee in the evening doesn't.

Are you taking any bladder spasm medication? Often, the bladder uncontrollably spasms no matter how much liquid is in it, causing a purge of urine to come out.

Hey there. I have the same problem. But I have narrowed it down to only leaking if I cough, laugh too hard, or during transfers. Like once I put weight back on my butt, a shot of urine comes out. As for pads, I found that Serenity for men works well as they are a bit shorter and widder. So they are easier to put in your shorts while in your chair, and I often wrap the wider excess amount round my penis to help against it wondering or pointing in an unprotected direction.

I went in for a uorodinamic resently because of this issue, of course then it wouldn't leak any because I was on my side and doing anything strenious. Forced coughs don't seam to cause much if any leakage as real coughs. I do take something called imipermine to help keep the shinkter to the the bladder tighter. It seams to help, though I think a change in dossage or something is in order at this point. I also read somewhere that those Male vibrater deals aid in this issue. But with my injury, the only way to get an errection is via an injection. But I have yet to cause a climax, so i don't even know if I can. Nonetheless, if you can climax, I here those vibrater deals help.

Have to admit I prefer condom caths for longer periods because despite years of practice/timing drinking amounts ect I still leak quite heavily to. You can get special briefs that you can use absorbent pads with that don't look too obtrusive but you have to be careful because pads are not really large and if penis is not in right place or it moves look out for damp patch!! but I do use them around house
