The Denver Channel announced a "breakthrough" for SCI. In looking up information on the molecule "Decorin" I find that this was being researched in 2006.
Does anyone have any additional information on this new breakthrough?
I am only now beginning to understand comments from people who have had SCI for 30 years or more. They have heard about breaking news for 30 years. Still nothing?
I guess no different than cancer, there are treatments, no cures. Ironic and interesting, to think about cancer. They are still using the same treatments for cancer, chemo and radiation. For the 50 yrs I have been around there has been plenty of money for cancer research. So it comes as no surprise to me, that there is no treatments and no cure for SCI, especially with a religious fanatic for a president and the limited funds for research.
