Anyone know of any leg bags which can be worn discreetly under shorts??

I have tried manfred sauers discrete thigh bags and whilst they fit the description and are very well designed, they always seem to blow back for me.

Cheers

A friend I used to take care of before I met my husband was able to order a leg bag so he could wear shorts and I believe any medical supplier who sells regular leg bags can find one for you to wear under your shorts. The one my friend had attached horizontally on the upper thigh as opposed to the vertical mount on the calf. It was about half the length of a regular leg bag so you may have to empty more often. Sorry, I don't have a link for you, but you should be able to find a supplier. Take Care!

they make a smaller bag that will work but fills up faster and harder to drain. what i usually do is wear my regular bag on my leg and had some material covers made that cover the bag part. that method is way better. people are going to stare anyway. most don't even know what it's for so who cares really. it's more convenient for me.

Thanks for replies.

Dont mind the smaller capacity bag size. I would add that i do ISC and the bag is just a "backup" to catch any leakage when out n about, on cycle rides. particularly when u can't always find a suitable toilet. Most successful bag i have used is a coloplast security 350ml but have found it works best with atleast an inch of inlet tube. Consequently i have to fold the bag up other wise it would be down to my shin. (I am sure there is a double entendre here).
Cheers

There are leg bags that can be worn under shorts, they are either called leg bags, or travel bags, although I have to tell you, they don't completely hide, sometimes mine end up having to stick out, I've had to use a foley for years because all I do is leak now... I hope this helps...

What I do is wear my bed bag which holds 2000ml. I put it in a black bag and hang it on my chair. I then take a black stocking and cover the hose. The people who know that I wear a bed bag STILL can't see it and have no idea that its there

there was another post like this.. you can just put in the foley, and I just put the cap in it(the one i would put on the spout of the leg bag) tuck it in my leggings and when i think I might need to go i just go in a bottle and dump it! the only thing is you dont know when u would need to go(like when the bag would be full) but i just guess! works well

I feel your pain regarding the supposedly discreet leg bag that blows up like a balloon and tends to start hanging out!! :ban: I have gotten accustom to wearing my rusch bag which only holds like 800 cc and is creased to allow for expansion, my problem is I don't spend the whole day in the ladies room waiting to empty it! I drink tons of crystal lite trying to keep my system flushed and my supra pubic line clear.. So my bag is always the size of a pumpkin!! I have emptied it in parking lots, bank teller lots, you name it cause a bathroom is not always accessible to me when my bladder decided to let it flow!! :poo: I honestly don't have a solution ,finding myself like others who posted above, I wear a 1000cc overnight bag out in public and just say f@*k it!! Like others have said people stare anyways so why not give them something to look at other than my chair. Hahahaha I always pretend they are just checkin me out and its worked just fine for me this far!! :dancegirl:

If you watch your fluid intake you can get a pretty good idea of when to go. But it's something you have to work at. I know how much I can drink while I'm sedentary - usually about 16-20 oz. and I cath every four hours. But if I'm outside in the heat, I need to drink more or I start to get dehydrated.

Also, caffeine will cause your bladder to fill faster. You just have to experiment for a while until you know what your limits are.

Anyone else have this problem? I've just ordered some Manfred Sauer thigh bags because I'm going on holiday next month and want to wear shorts...for the first time in 25 years!! I'm getting to old to be self conscious about my legs, lol. I use condom drainage not an indwelling catheter btw, in case it makes a difference.
Cheers, Clive

Give the Manfred Sauer thigh bags ago, they are discrete (thin / not bulky, small and sit high enough no to be seen). They may work very well for you. Perhaps test them at home before your holiday.
