As for exercise, I do crunches, push-ups, weights and hand cycling. I can do the crunches, push-ups and weights at home. I have some strap-on hand weights I use. I just bought them at Target for about $10. I go to my school gym to use the hand cycle and they have another weight machine I can use. Just go over to your local gym and ask if they have any accessible equipment. I also swim, but not as often as I would like, at the gym's pool.

Theraband comes in different strengths and works well as counter a weight without carrying an actual heavy weight around.
