Many quads with limited hand function need their food cutting up for them, so they can eat with a fork. They also need a non slip mat under the plate to stop it skidding across the table as they scoop/spike food with their fork.

At home this is not a problem, but when you go out to a restaurant, they do not always have non slip mats available.

All you have to do is get a glass of water, and a napkin, dampen the napkin and place it between the hard, shiny table and your plate.

This will stop the plate skidding accross the table and onto your, or your partners lap!

Regards

Simon.
