I was nosing through an AVON brochure when something caught my eye.
It's called the "PRO-TO-GO LIPSTICK". It uses a little lever that can be operated with the thumb......no cap removal or twisting to move the lipstick up.......it's all in the thumb. So maybe I'm wrong but I just thought for some of you ladies who are quads and lack finger dexterity but still have use of the thumbs this could be helpful.

Sorry I couldn't get an image of it to show up.

I recently gave one of these Pro-To-Go Lipcolors to a friend who is a quad. She thought it would be easier for her and she wouldn't need to use her teeth to pull a cap off a typical tube of lipstick. We found however that the small lever button that extracts and retracts the lipstick is a very tight moving button. It is also very small (the size of an eraser head at best) and she wasn't able to grip it in her hand while she used her other hand to move the button. We are planning to wrap the tube with something non-slip to see if that will help her to hold the tube while opening it. Granted, if you buy one and it doesn't work out, it's not a huge investment (about $5) but I thought I'd let you know the difficulty we experienced. On the upside the color formulas are great feeling. I wouldn't claim they stay on 'all day' but I haven't tried. Hope that helps a little.
