alas I find myself awake again at 3:43am, thinking about some event that happened over a decade ago. Sometimes I hate my the way my mind works...or don't work.

I'm off to the spinal unit to get my neck pain checked out, rang up last wednesday, and they slotted me in this afternoon.

Yeah, that's thing with waking up/insomnia in the middle of the night as a result of physical pain and not being able to get back to sleep. Your mind starts to wander to places it hasn't gone in a loooong time.
