Dwag, you are just a touch insane, were you here for the Silmar quake in 71, if I remember right, at 6.6, it sure did rock the house

I was living in Orange during the 94 Northridge quake... Woke me up, even 75 miles from the epicenter (er, epicentre, fro you brits).
Also "caused" a new career (or sinkhole), that lasted 9 years and got me up here to The Big Wet Spot
We had a doosey up here (2001 or 2???) and I can't say I miss seismic activity, but I'll trade it for this chitt they call weather up here ANYTIME!!!
(And I "just missed" the Sylmar quake.... Moved to beautiful So Cal in Feb. 72.)

And, A La Carte, just to add, I live in Orange. Wouldn't move up North to the "Big Wet Spot" if my life depended on it! But it's beautiful to visit.
btw, I've REALLY got a dirty mind, 'cause the only "BIG WET SPOT" I've EVER been familiar with is what's left on the bed after a real good time . . . . . well, I'm gonna have to stop here. Back to the wavy arms I go.

I lived in Orange for maybe a year and a half, ~'92-94. Nice town. I helped run a machine shop in Anaheim at the time. Prior to and during the start of my stint in the Sinkhole....
Unfortunately, this Big Wet Spot is more like the kind that leaves a stinky yellow stain... Bt there ain't no Depends that will fit.........
