I definitely don't think it'll be boring. I'm bored now though. :drive:

Choked on my breakfast this morning, didn't know I could get shredded wheat could travel the length of the kitchen and stick to the window like that.

I thought so. Thinking perhaps I ought get a little target sticker for the window for next time.

Welcome to Thursday.

I've got to be at work in half an hour.

I've poured water all over (unintentionally!!) my lap soaking my one clean pair of trousers (yeah I should do the washing more often!) and am sat here looking some what silly while my clothes spin in the tumble dryer.

Along with this, forgetting my keys (left them at work and then couldn't get in the house), making more mess during breakfast than a three year old (see above) it's not a good week!!

But I did get my bread back from the top cupboard of doom.

It's a nice day, finally, after tons of rain. There's something stuck under the letter 'k' of my keyboard. Ches and I practically pulled an all nighter last night on the phone. This morning, I, for some reason, thought it was garbage day (which is on Monday) and like an idiot, I started to pull all the garbage bags out to the curb. The neighbors were looking at me like I was nuts and I was wondering why no one else had their trash out yet. Well. It's THURSDAY. There's nothing quite like the totally retarded feeling you get after you do something stupid like that.

That's it for updates on current affairs. B)

I'm wearing the sofa out with my pacing*

*technically it's more of a fidget. But I'd pace if I could be bothered with the whole having to stand up thing.

Drink plenty of water, keep the curtains closed and the light off, and wait until your body processes the poisons and rehydrates.

Or, hair of the dog... no, not really.

Apparently, I'm living in plague city: over 70 cases in the past week. And yet somehow I can't bring myself to worry... it's a mild flu, by all accounts.

Beautiful sunny day here.

Düsseldorf is beautiful place - or at least the bits I saw (many years ago) where.

Swine flu seems to be a "when we haven't got anything else to talk about" news.

I'm off to see a potentially new [to me] car today - a Volvo V40 2.9 diesel.

It's a very green city, and the old town was relatively intact after the war, so it still has a lot of that older charm. I like it a lot. It has its rattier bits, but what city doesn't?

Raining now, ho-hum.
