Watching the MJ memorial. It's to hard to deny the impact he's had in the world, good, bad, AND indifferent.
Don't get me started, Yes ok MJ was a very good entertainer but in my opinion he don't deserve more news coverage then the troops that keep coming home in box's
30 second snippet about dead troops & weeks of MJ

it makes me sick
The inequity is glaring, but it always has been, celebrity celebrate, hero weep.
With regards to the thousands of boxes, the media has been kept from showing our flag draped; there are privacy issues that must be honored; and for those that requested their loved ones' return be televised, our last president made it impossible for them to do so; not only did he cover up the price tag, he tried to covered up the real cost...history will not shine brightly on these times.
Added after original post...
Despite the alleged misdoings, acquittal, payouts, Michael Jackson did give many joy and hope through his music. And, least we not forget this man, human being, had friends, family, children, and, he is no longer here for them to love and be loved...perhaps we best leave them alone to grieve in whatever form they choose.
