I'm waiting for a new cooker to be delivered. It is supposed to arrive between 8.15 and 12.30.
It's not here yet...

Try switching the charger on... :) Is it caught in your beard Stillfingers?.. Don't throw them across the room and get "charged with assault on battery"... :mfrlol:

No knot in the cord, no switch in the off position, just six dead batteries. No more sheep left to count either...another movie perhaps :)

Sold another World of Warcraft account...spend a few months playing a game then sell it for a nice profit. Btw, anyone want to buy a level 80 human warrior? I'll throw in a epic flying mount for free :)

I've just got back from my friends house where she cooked the most immense roast dinner, 9 different vegetables on the plate (most of which were homegrown), followed by homemade crumble. I am stuffed!

Had an interesting morning, oops perhaps the wrong thread... Woke up at about 230am, all the lights out, no clocks ticking, no phones ringing, lots of silence. It seems two late night drivers miss judged their skills, managed to decapitate a telephone pole not far from our home. More than 3500 households went black until 130pm this afternoon. I'm sure glad it's not hot today.

SF, That was a little racey, but not as much as Trin's dinner, which once again eludes me. Crumble?? I can only imagine.

I'm going out for lunch tomorrow, Vietnamese food in Little Saigon with the wife and parents. I'm sure all will be waiting with baited breath on what I've eaten. Well, I'm not even sure yet if I'm gonna tell you. So, take THEM apples!

Bouncer, that's just too exciting for this thread. All this talk of food is making my mouth water...

Why was Trin getting a new cooker, then going for a meal at a friends? That's a mystery for Miss Marples !!

Fatdave, you could be eating a tin of spam :dev: topped with custard... (if you have tinned custard in America)?

Another mystery is how did stillfingers type his message if there wasn't any power? Does he use thought waves?

This is all too much for me; I must lie down in a dark room with my PA.... Oops! Sorry, too exciting... :)

I never turn down the offer of a free meal plus no washing up!

I am waiting for my mother to arrive, we are going bed shopping. It is my incredibly boring birthday present but it is much needed. My bed had been a bit broken for about 3 years and one day I will wake up with it collapsed underneath me. My mattress is also old and I am in desperate need of a decent nights sleep.

Apparently we spend a third of our lives in bed. I spend more than this I am sure, I am always laying on my bed. I long for comfort.

:) :dev: Trin, a bed for a birthday present; that really is boring. Will it be a double, just in case Brad Pitt or some handsome dude turns up? Then you can write in the Incredibly Interesting thread...

Its my birthday in less than 2 weeks, which thread shall I post my list for presents?... I bet fatdave will send me one of his unlabelled tins... :)

We’ll have a whip round for you Scribb’s,

Quick update on the bed purchasing, bought the bed online in the end bought a mattress from sleepright. It is a deep memory foam matress and was reduced from £649 to £349 then I was given a further 20% off so a bargain really!
Yes scribs it is a double, Brad Pitt would be a nice touch.

The mattress came vacuum packed so it's all unrolled onto my (broken) bed at the moment. I have to wait 3 hours before I can test it out though:(

Well, I don't see Trin online at the moment, so I guess she's trying the new matress out. Scribs, you can't fool anyone with that Brad Pitt mask!! Take that off RIGHT now, you ol' horn monger!!

Okay, so I had the Vietnamese food, excellent. They infuse French cooking with an Asian flare, so whats left is something uniquely their own. Oh yah . . . . the details would enable me to post here in the first place, right? Here are the dishes:
1. Pork tenderloin with crispy rice
2. Beef with Fried sweet potatoes
3. Seafood salad on baby green spinach
4. Coconut creme broulette (sp?)
5. Bread pudding with tamarind sauce.
And some Hibiscuss iced tea drink.

This was served family style, so 4 of us shared a bit of every dish, all for around $50.00+ tip. Not too shabby.

You can all go back about your business now.

Bugger. I've got a fine double that's half free at the moment. Willing to share. Could have saved yourself 279-pounds.

Well there's an offer I can't refuse!

I am sooooo bored today, it's cold and raining. I went out briefly got covered in mud and road sludge. Only needed a pint of milk. There is nothing on tv, everyone is at work, I'm bored of all my itunes. I have cleaned the house and done my laundry. Nothing left to do. Debating about whether to go back to bed but without Brad Pitt thats pretty dull too.

I seem to have spent all morning doing paperwork... it's so inspiring I think I found God between the invoices.
