I finished my scuba diving course today, it went well, I passed everything (put up pics on my blog/facebook). And I'm thinking that I'd like to work stuff out with my ex after all cuz I'm starting to realize how much I still love him. 11ish years is a long time to be with someone. And he wants to work things out, has for a while. Not that boring, but hell. I'm exhausted and can't think all that clearly. It's all about diving and exes in my world tonight. Okay, back to boring topics.

I just spent 3 hours on the phone with someone in a call center somewhere in India. Ever try to explain to someone that doesn't speak much english that the company that employs them is responsible for putting faulty GPU's in some laptops? Not fun.

Btw, HP DV8000 - 9000series laptops with the nvidia gpu are bad...stay away.
Never explain--your friends do not need it and your enemies will not believe you anyway.

Thats what bosses are best at Clara, delegating, ie dropping stuff on employees from great heights cos they cannae be arsed!! I think it's part of their training.

I'm fortunate that my boss is also my brother-in-law, so he knows better! Only problem is I have'nt been at work for a week and a half cos I ended up in hospital again, this time for 4 days, and I still feel crap. I think he's too scared to delegate anything on me for now. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that.

Thanks Scribs, at least the singing will keep my mind off how I feel for a bit. It was the Maze I was in, at least it felt like one anyway. And by the way, she's having a Bob the Builder phase, more audience participation to the song I think.

And be careful with those eclairs, they look as though they could choke a horse!! Would'nt want you needing any mouth to mouth from your PA's or anything like that!

You'll be joining the WI next Trin, then posing behind some jars of jam for their next Nude Calendar.. I bag's a copy. :)

I've 3 plumbers here (no; its not a leaking leg bag), they're changing my Central Heating system.
They have taken over my whole home; there's pipes everywhere so Zdenka and I are in the the extension.

Its boring listening to them wrecking my home... :(

Yes Clara, I'm so old they didn't have colour film, plus I think the RAF bought a job lot of black paint from Trotters Independent Trading.. :head_brick_wall-1:

If anyone is an aerospace geek like me, let me know and I'll start a thread.

I've always loved planes, have enjoyed many an air show in the southern California area; Chino, El Toro, Edwards, Los Alamitos, Miramar and Norton. As a pre-teen I got to see the Blue Angles up close and personal in the late 60s and was hooked immediately. I've built models; wood, plastic and metal; airbrush a bit to; it helps me with arm/hand control and is just plain fun. Built/flew radio controlled planes as a kid and continue to watch mini air shows put on by local clubs in my area. And I follow this stuff on the web, lately the RAF sites, given our Phantom Scribbler was an RAF pilot in the famous Black Arrows 111 Squadron...go Mike :crash:

I like general aviation, military, experimental and space. Flying vehicles of all kinds peek my interest and I often get some wonderful photos and info from my better half's brother who is part of the Space Shuttle and Atlas rocket teams.

I know this is boooooooooooring, I just can't help myself...

Jerry

Only after we have lost everything, are we free to do anything.
