I was so bored I took apart my cable company issued digital video recorder to see how they encoded the video.

Your offer is quite tempting Clara...I checked the maps tho, seems the distance from southern california to Leicestershire is quite the crawl/swim/crawl, might I ask for a rain check. Plans are for my lady and I to visit the UK in 2012 or shortly there after...pasta and veg sounds lovely :D

You certainly can - right now we would consider the rain as "coming down painfully hard".

I'll see you in 2012!! Expect the UK to be in chaos.

What?? But if the Tooth Fairy isn't real than how can the Easter Bunny live in the Tooth Fairies Castle? You've just made the Easter Bunny homeless!!!!

Apparently it was yummy - the lodger had it for lunch.

You are slowly killing my childhood innocence!

Sweet dreams everyone. My darling partner was meant to be here for a romantic afternoon / evening / night, just time for both of us to relax after the stressful past few days and enjoy each others company...

... you've guessed by now that he isn't here yet.

If anyone wants pasta and fresh vegetable (well, a day old but otherwise straight from a friends garden) and the finest beef of cuts sauce... it's in the fridge.

I'll leave the candles out for you.

I only live down the A46 Clara so can be there faster than stillfingers; I've also bought a super razor for your miss-inturpitation of my signature. I hope the offer of the 'whole night' is still up for grabs?

I've had a very boring day, gathering info and phone records to back my complaint against local authorities so I'm in need of a :lmao:

Oh, its def boring! After working for a few hours to get it apart and making sure the warranty seals didn't break I managed to get the hard drive out. It seems that it encodes the stream in a simple mpeg but needs to see a live cable signal before it will play. So, I will continue to capture things I want to share using a tv card :dunno:

Watched the first episode of the new Tudors series last night. The acting is even worse! So wooden that half of the characters sound as though they're reading from queue cards.

Mind you there was the usual dose of rumpy-pumpy to keep the attention.

Why let real Historical facts get in the way of some Rumpy-Pumpy . :specool: Its just TV entertainment, almost as good as Postman Pat, but there's no Rumpy-Pumpy in that.. :mfrlol:

I never realised Henry V111 only had an army of 12 soldiers and 3 knights... And they quelled that rebellion of thousands. Wow!!! The SAS of their time maybe?

I'll still watch it next week, and so will you Greybeard...... Admit it...

Clara was :tape: :dev: :tape:

I thought I'd died this morning...... No phone or internet. Bugger!! I felt like I was disabled... :mfromg: How did I manage before??
I remember.......... Lots of Rumpy-Pumpy.... :wink05: Still no phone until Tuesday so its no good phoning to ask me round Clara...

If you watched Desperate Romantics Greybeard its full of Rumpy-Pumpy... :mfromg: When I'd finished watching the series, then downloaded it on to my hard drive, I phoned the BBC to complain about the graphic images of nakedness..... I was so shocked; honest..

Sound the same as "Bumping Uglys."

Aaaaaaanyway. Scribs, if this is the FIRST time you've felt disabled, you've obviously led a full and fruitful life.--haha

And GB. I don't see it. Guess my expectations of actors isn't that high. I mean, Keanu Reeves is the absolute worst actor imo. But above that, most are good, compotent actors.

Sitting here on Britain's sunshine South coast, I can honestly say that, weather-wise, today has been the most miserable, cold, wet November day I've ever experienced in August. :D

Clara, when you wrote that you felt alone despite being in a relationship, I did wonder if the relationship was solid enough to endure. I realise it is nothing to do with me, but perhaps you and he need to explore that a little.

Not wanting to make this thread interesting but, he dropped by this morning on his way to work and hugged and kissed me as if nothing had ever happened...

Cripes, maybe he's another girlfriend and thought he was trying to dump her?!
