I had gotten pulled over once for no front number plate ( it was on my dash due to a freshly painted body kit) The officer was nice and told me get it on there as soon as I could. I was putting my papers back and for some dumb reason I pushed the clutch in and rolled back into his cruiser, I yelled out the window "Hey man! watch the paint" before I realized it was me that had rolled into him.

Not my proudest moment.

Was the paint okay??

I'm now £543.18 in credit with my gas / electricity supplier. That's a third of a wheelchair! Woop!! (Yes I have requested some of it comes in the back direction of my bank account!)

Converting your wheelchair into a wheel bike (pedal with your legs to propel the bike) OR of course (and probably more suited to this site)... strap your feet in and get loads of exercise in those leg muscles as you propel yourself with your arms.

I was impressed.

Nothing much . . . . . just fell out of my chair.

Then, for the first time ever, got back up unassisted. Of course I had to stick a couple cushions under my butt to raise me up a bit. Next I hoisted myself to a mid point bench. And lastly, I got back to the damn chair.
:drooldrip: Now I could use a nap.

I am borderline being driven mad by a.......seagull.
There is one particular seagull outside my place that will not leave and the thing cries like a whistle EVERY second...

of every minute...

of every hour...

of every day...

for the past week.

No kidding. As long as there is daylight, there it is, *tweet...tweet...tweet...tweet...tweet*

It sounds like a kid blowing a penny whistle really loud and I cannot hear myself think, and it's loud enough I can hear it through closed windows.
IRRITATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Or maybe this belongs in the most interesting thread ha ha...) Guess I'll just have to blare some music or something

It is pretty cool. I suppose for most of us we'd just be using it for range of motion. I know I for 1 doubt I'd be using it like the guy in grocery store/market but it is pretty cool.

Thanks WB,

The nap was nice, and went great with the rain!

So Wicket, lace some chips with rat poison and leave the bag on your window sill.

If the bird so happens to eat it INSTEAD of the rats . . . . well, it happens. :dev: :assassin:

Have you tested your smoke alarms this month?
I have.
But apparently 22:43 isn't a good time to do so.

Nope (luckily they're far enough away not to hear).
Upset uncle whose living with me right now (if that's not an incentive to go and sort out the relationship with my aunt and make a respectable woman of her I don't know!) and starts work at 05:00

I actually had thought of that, but the speakers are nowhere near the window. The red-tailed hawk scream always sounds amazing though.

Seagulls however are as noisy as politicians and they'll crap all over your car.

It knows better than to approach my window. Wonder if I can throw the chip bag into that tree?

The rat poison idea might be a good thing for both birds and polititians. Gotta admit,, the lead poisoning idea might be quicker. A .22 should be quieter than the predater call,,, and more fun, too.

Even if you did & even if you got it caught on video they'd just declare some sort of diplomatic immunity & get away with it anyhow. :mfrlol: Don't spose it's obvious how much a hate politicians is it? :D
