Okay gang...

Now for something really boring.

BAKED BEANS

My husband, the current Mr catmint, as I like to call him, has a fondness for tinned baked beans. I do not share this affection or should I say affliction.

There has been a bit of a kerfuffel here. I always bought him Tescos baked beans but he says they have changed the recipe and are now using inferior beans..'bl--dy bullets' were his exact discription.

So I tried Heinz, these seemed to be no better.

Last resort..Waitrose ...

These have been given the seal of approval by Mr C and peace is now restored at Catmint Towers.

Aldi Baked Beans are good Catmint, plus the after affects will register 7.6 on the Richter scale...... :mfromg: Heinz Baked Beans only register 6.4.... :mfrlol:

Ah! So that's how you've managed to prevent sores is it Scribs? You keep lifting your bum with the aid of Aldi beans.

Do you have a sticker on your chair warning everyone to keep well down wind? :)

I managed to partially destroy my laptop screen, the good news is Apple are fixing it for free, the bad news is that it will take at least 7 days so have had to resort to my old Windows laptop.

I just hate inefficiency and a lack of dedication to a job!

My grandparents-not-yet-in-law have packed me so full of food alas the new lacy french knickers are unlikely to fit right now!

Funny you should mention that I went out to see the Steam Trains yesterday (the Oliver Cromwell and I can't remember the other one) with my wonderful partner. It was glorious! Not least because it meant an escape from his family (very nice people just like force feeding you tea and Christmas cake)

Something really boring for you...
I am sat at my partners house (not Scribs - my other partner) waiting for a stranger (also not Scribs) to come and collect a welder (my partner I feel I should mention is at the farm doing the final preparation for the sale of his Land Rover tomorrow).
More specifically I am sat in a very clean lounge, just next to the sparkling kitchen. Surely not you cry! How can a batchler live in such a clean state?

It's very simple.

Go away to your grandparents for three days,
Send your girlfriend over to wait for the welder chap.
Allow your girlfriend to find the inch of mould growing on what might once have been considered breakfast.

A sparkling room as if by magic appears on your return.

Clara; where were the Steam Trains? Did you have to go all the way to York?

I was visiting relatives in Stamford some years ago and was amazed to see Britannia [70000, to Oliver Cromwell's 70013] at Tempsford on the Nene Valley Railway.

We went up to York last year for our Christmas holiday. This year however we stayed very close to home and went to the Great Central Railway

I had a lovely day yesterday - shopping at Demon Tweeks buying things for my boyfriends car. So many wonderful shiny things!!

Trouble is - I now want a racing seat type office chair. They were so comfortable.

Today I'm off to buy more parts for my train set.

Here's hoping I don't spend too much that I have to live off tinned beans for the rest of the month.

I'm Boring, Boring, Boring!! It's Official!

Here's the proof:
I just looked at the 12 song album game listing the worst songs of 2009. I didn't recognise any of the song titles and none of the "artist". :P Come to think of it, I couldn't name one song title from 2009 (good or bad). Actually the same probably goes for most of the past 15 years or so. Now that's really boring init kiddies?

Glad I missed all those shitty songs though. :(
