Oh Scribbs, this is terrible. I hope they find the scoundrel so you can bash him/her soundly with your chair.

Should I send the pizza man over?
Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!

That's a bummer Scribs, but there's an awful lot of it about. Happened to me just a short while back too - credit card and chequeing account. Basically the banks' security systems stink.

Fortunately my PIN wasn't used at any stage so the loss from my chequeing account was made good within a week. The credit card took a little longer.

Good luck.

B4stards! It's the reason I quickly check my accounts online each day. Hope you get it sorted quickly, Scribs.

Meanwhile, on with the boring thread - because that crime report was actually quite racy - I'm glad I took the dogs out after lunch because it's now snowing AGAIN.... :soapbox:

In the spirit of supporting our troops, maybe you could send the letters on to our boys at the front after you've read them, if CT just uses your Pet Name as usual?

This is a beautiful and touching thread, but it's getting a bit close, so time to get boring again.

It's raining AGAIN. We are all going to drown, but the water rationing order is not being lifted.

You are indeed correct Mike, it never rains here in California...it POURS; but incorrect as to our esteemed ArnoldS, as he has nothing to do with the weather, he's busy trying to figure out how to bail us out of 25 billion in debt :suicide:

My uncle was made redundant on Friday (he lives with me - don't ask it's hard work to explain) and wont tell me what he's going to do about rent etc. He has however spent a good deal of the weekend looking at buying a new caravan and some other toys with my aunt so here's hoping he's going to move in with her and live like a little happy family. Until then I will sit here wondering what's to happen to the room he only pays rent for when he feels like it at the best of times.

My friend is moving in for three days as of tomorrow so that he'll be close to the town (he doesn't drive) for an intensive job hunting session before he goes back to his parents (very strict who want him to work for them - at £30.00 a week doing a job he hates and leaving his new shiny degree to grow moss, they wont let him use the phone or internet before 19:00 to look for jobs so he's somewhat trapped in a tiny village in the arse end of no where). I don't mind him coming over for a few days but if he's got it into his head that he can stay flit around in friends spare rooms for a few months til he can get himself organised he's got another thing coming.

And now it seems another friend will be sleeping on the sofa as they are suffering "drain blockage" at home affecting the one toilet (hopefully Dynmo Rod will be turning up tomorrow with some plastic explosive) in the house. I prefer this to him peeing in the kitchen sink and I'm pretty sure his neighbours will but this house is starting to sound like a hotel!

awwww love you too sweetheart, but you're still not having the right side of the bed! It's mine and I will protect it with as many pillows as I have.

I'm meant to be asleep. But I've just hit the magic mark of over one thousand shoe laces sold this month and am feeling strangely excited. I am celebrating with a hot Ribena.
