We could change the cheese to kinds of bottled water. Now that would be boring.

Can you imagine someone coming back from the dead.. maybe just 100 yrs ago.. maybe a little longer.. And what they would think when they realized we had things like "bottled water", and "cans of air" They would have to be like What the f*@k is wrong with you people?

It might depend on who came back from the dead. If the person was an inventor, they might think, "most extraordinary!" But then, that's way too exciting to think about on this thread.

Scrib, don't discourage me from going to heaven. I've always thought it might be interesting up there (or where ever it might be) :)

Why do people look up at the sky when they talk or think about heaven? Where is this place supposed to be anyway? Why do people look down for Hell? Is there an elevator or something with a button that reads, "Heaven Up, Hell, Down?"

If there is, I'll have a job using it in my wheelchair... Maybe there's a lift for disabled access... :mfrlol:

My sister in New Zealand has just set seed for her lawn. I thought you'd all enjoy watching it grow, so I've attached a pic. I hope its not too exciting for you all, especially Kiwi Nomis... :)

Scrib, I don't think heaven is as complicated as earth. No lifts only floaters (clouds)

Scrib,

Ask your sister if she can send pictures of the grass as it starts to grow?

Your right Scribler, I wouldn't do very well with the grass pics. I just spent 6 months watching REAL bananas grow in my back yard.

If you click on my profile, it's the tree just behind my head. And, I do say REAL because this isn't a double meaning post.

Sorry, just keepin' it real . . . . boring!!

btw, Brie, Ementaler, Butter Cheese!!!--Nyah

Talk about excitement. Wow! The grass down here is rampant as it's high spring. But that rapid growth with inbuilt wheel marks impresses me.

I'm not having such remarkable results with my own current planting programme but I'm still excited by the potential that it beholds.

So I'm keeping a daily photographic record (that I'm thrilled to share with you) of a sunflower seed I planted. Here, below, it is on Day Three.

I couldn't stop laughing Simon, I just wish I could send it to my sister as she'd love to wake up and see it had grown over night.

Nomis! I'm not going to sleep well tonight, I'll be too excited to see your Sunflower seed growing... All this excitements bad for an old man like me!!!

Of course you're not Pikey, thats why you're posting in a boring thread at 5pm on a sat evening. You're obviously overwhelmed with things to do!

I, on the other hand, am bored. Luckily the boredom is not going to last for long.

Here's a picture of a frog that was swimming in my pool. What nerve! He doesn't even pay rent here. Freeloader! I got him out with a net and set him on the lawn where he sat in shame. A few minutes later, he came knocking at the back door. Seriously, Mr. Hapa was outside and watched this frog actually hop to he back door and ball up his fist and rap on the back door. I believe he wanted to apologize.

Actually, Scribbler, they were seriously the BEST little things I've ever had!! It's the second time I've gotten a batch since I planted this Banana tree 4 tears ago, and I'm so glad I did!!

I had a frog in MY pool before, Hapa . . . turned my pool water GREEN in no time!! I only noticed it when coming home from a vacation to New Orlean's. I was so rested, i even let that damn freeloader, green water turner, no good somebitch stay a couple more days before mustering up the strength to do something about it!

OK. It's here. I know you've been waiting. Great interest overnight with a fall of rain. But wait, there's more. Today is the start of daylight saving in NZ so (you'll love this) the pic has been taken a whole hour earlier than it was was taken yesterday. Yes. So here's today's pic, DAY 4, which clearly shows there has been no progress.
