Today it was raining and I didn't do much of anything because I didn't want to go outside where it was wet and windy and you know what that's like when it gets on your wheels and hands and other places, too. Not the wind, I mean the wet from the rain that's on the ground and is picked up by the tyres as they go around and around and that. So I thought I'd see if I could get my photo scanner running on my new computer but I couldn't find the disc with the appropriate drives and I later learnt that even if I found them they weren't going to be any good cos they don't work with Vista so it was all a waste of time - not that my time is valuable or anything but it did mean I did some unproductive work that came to nought. So I put the scanner away again in a shelf that's quite low down but that's convenient because it is out of the way until I decide what to do with it - not that I'm thinking about that much though, because I've got other things to think about which I could tell you about but I'm not sure if I want to right now. I might some other day but I can't be sure. It's the sort of thing I'd have to decide at the time. You know. Anyway, it's probably not that interesting though you can never tell what might be interesting to other people, sometimes. I know when the guy nextdoor told me he was thinking of replacing the camshaft in his car I didn't think that would be interesting but it sort of told me a lot about the guy when I started to think about it. I mean it was interesting that he was predicting that because his current camshaft was old it had increasing chances of breaking and he was sensibly pre-empting that negative possibility. I don't know if he has done it yet. I could ask him tomorrow, that's if the rain has stopped cos as I explained above I don't like getting wet from the wheels on my chair. It really does annoy me, all that wetiness. More rain is predicted for tomorrow. Mark my words, it's going to be wet again. Not a good day for washing clothes.

Don't worry I'm here and I bring with me some boredom......

In the 6th century, the Three Chapters were an an attempt to reconcile the Monophysites with the Dyphysites following the failure of the Henotikon. The Three Chapters anathematised Theodore of Mopsuestia and Theodoret of Cyrus, as well as condemning the letter of Ibas to Maris.

There you go, felt I needed to get the thread back on track

Scintillating Trin. Talking of Mopsuestia, you may not be aware but under the Seleucid Empire, the city took the name of Seleucia on the Pyramus (Greek: Σελεύκεια προς τον Πύραμο, also transliterated Seleucia pros to Pyramo, Seleukheia pros to Pyramo, Seleukeia pros to Pyramo, and Seleuceia pros to Pyramo; Latin: Seleucia ad Pyramum).
