Hiding in the cupboard too scaared to show how dumb I truely am. Anyway, Trin not only is to be admired for disliking cucumber but also for her knowledge here.

Top right holding finger up is Chinese basketballer Yao Ming.
Middle holding guitar Hank Williams.

No, Hank Williams is meant to be Elvis Presley since it's electric guitar but he's wearing Hank's shirt.

Is Clinton Clinton or Boris Yelstin?

No 10 on the left is Pele.
Christopher Columbus next to Clinton/Yelstin.

I'm staring at that picture again! I'm going to email it to people and see if they come up with more, it sure is amusing! So there are 100 famous faces in it? How many do we have so far? Did anyone else notice that creepy ghoulish looking thing over on the right by the stairs/balcony thing?

You're right qbounce, stillfingers and TO. Whoever did this picture has a lot to answer for, they certainly make some famous faces look weired. I think the guy or girl has a great sense of humour, its certainly got us entertained, frustated and amused since I posted it.

I've come to the conclusion it's a great idea poorly presented. You have to stretch your imagination and take a stand to claim to know some. The Queen looks ridiculous and in that old gown could be Catherine the Great. Behind the boxer (probably Tyson but why not Liston) is that a poor image of Hemmingway or Freud? And behind him with folded arms at the table is Col Custer or Mark Twain?

The guy on the right with the cup I reckon is Kurt Waldheim exSectyGen UN and the guy holding the painting in front Marcel Duchampe. Is that Mickey Rooney sitting in the chair? Someone mentioned seeing Salvadore Dali. I don't (but I do see perhaps Franz Ferdinand behind Waldheim).

It's a great idea and I got hooked in but no more. It isn't done well enough. And where's Scrib - maybe that's him holding the cup collecting pennies.

It's tempting to go on with this just to make it boring. But no, I'm going to watch my desktop and see if an ant comes along.

I was doing some 'research' about the painting and found this http://i.gae.ro/painting/. I don't think this is the definitive list but some guy's thoughts on who the people are, anyway it makes for some interesting reading.

Cor that's some impressive research that's gone into that. It's pretty convincing...except how did he decide on Tojo - I still can't see it.

Yes, I think that is Mickey Rooney. I knew his name was Mickey something but couldn't remember his last name.

Looking at the painting version of Mother Theresa beside her photograph in Trin's link makes me really wonder why the artist painted her GREEN. She's green! And the painting version of Pavarotti looks nothing like him! I should have known that was Marie Curie--in fact, I thought it might be her but wasn't sure. Don't remember if anyone pointed her out in the list we came up with. So that wasn't Jesus passed out at the table, that was Li Bai. Okay then.

And I just realized that in one of my earlier posts about this painting, I called Osama bin Laden OBAMA. Oops! That's quite the typo!
